Operations Manager
Operations Manager (Nonprofit – Admin, HR, Finance, IT)
Job Summary:
The Operations Manager strengthens Heaven’s Family’s mission by building and maintaining the internal systems that keep our ministry effective and growing. This role covers office administration, logistics, IT support, HR, and finance, ensuring all internal systems run smoothly in support of our mission. The ideal candidate is a trusted, detail-oriented professional who thrives on solving problems, building systems, and supporting a mission-driven team. This is a manager-level role with the potential to expand into greater leadership responsibility as the organization grows.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project & Operations Management
- Lead or support cross-department projects, ensuring timely and on-budget completion
- Coordinate tasks with staff and vendors as needed
2. Office Administration
- Oversee daily office operations, fostering an efficient, Christ-centered workplace
- Manage supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
- Coordinate logistics for internal meetings and events
3. Information Technology
- Manage IT vendors, systems, hardware, and security protocols
- Support staff with troubleshooting and onboarding
- Oversee data backup and privacy compliance
4. Finance Administration
- Supervise accounts receivable staff and processes
- Serve as day-to-day liaison with the outsourced accounting firm
- Assist with budgets, financial reports, and audits
- Oversee invoices, expenses, and other routine financial tasks
5. HR Support
- Manage recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding in collaboration with the Executive Director
- Administer benefits and maintain employee/volunteer records
- Maintain the employee handbook and HR policies up to date
- Support managers in performance management processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in operations, administration, or nonprofit management
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Proficient in Google Workspace and common productivity software; experience with QuickBooks or similar tools is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and effective in a small, collaborative team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Hybrid: remote work with one in-person day weekly in Punxsutawney, PA
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year

Advancement Director
Advancement Director
Director of Advancement Responsibilities:
- Learn, evaluate, and enhance Heaven’s Family’s fundraising strategy, programs, projects, and activities for current effectiveness and future potential.
- Lead all strategic and day-to-day fundraising tactics, including direct mail and email marketing, website, donor development and care, program packaging, major gifts, planned giving, etc.
- Oversee and develop Heaven’s Family audience engagement through branding and messaging. This includes audience procurement and cultivation.
- Travel to meet stakeholders, partners, and donors domestically and occasionally internationally.
Director of Advancement Attributes:
- The Director of Advancement will be an exceptionally talented and passionate leader with a calling to full-time ministry work and an evident commitment to personal godliness.
- A minimum of 5 years of nonprofit fundraising, donor development, and/or chase-related marketing.
- A good instinct for qualified written, verbal, and visual content that will connect with targeted audiences.
- Experience with donor management systems, ideally Salesforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Ministry, Philanthropy, or related experience.
