Nari Believed She Had No Other Choice. You Can Help Her Find Another Way.
When Nari’s father died unexpectedly, everything changed. Her dreams of studying agriculture and building a brighter future disappeared overnight.
Help Women Find Freedom
When Survival Became Her Only Option
Nari had been studying agriculture at a university in Phnom Penh, dreaming of a brighter future for herself and her family. But overnight, those dreams disappeared.
With no one left to provide for her mother and two younger siblings, Nari left school and took the only job she believed could keep her family alive—a job at a karaoke bar.
Today, Nari earns just $5–$7 per day serving drinks and entertaining customers in an environment where women face constant pressure, exploitation, harassment, and abuse.
She carries the burden alone, hiding the truth from her family because she fears bringing shame upon them.
Nari is not alone. More than 1,300 women work in karaoke bars throughout her district of Cambodia. Most entered this life for the same reason—to help their families survive.
But There Is Hope.
Heaven’s Family partners with Precious Women, a Christ-centered ministry reaching vulnerable women before exploitation becomes their future.

They learn each woman’s name. They hear her story. They become trusted friends.
As relationships grow, women are invited into caring communities where they experience something many have never known before:
For women ready to take the next step, Precious Women provides:
- Safe community and discipleship
- Emotional and practical support
- Education opportunities
- Vocational training
- Life-skills development
- Small business grants that create lasting income
Most importantly, women discover the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Together, We Can Help More Women Find Freedom
Currently, 50 women are participating in Precious Women’s programs. But thousands more—including Nari—are still waiting.
Our goal is to help 100 vulnerable women across Heaven’s Family’s ministry areas in Asia find freedom, hope, and a new future in Christ.
