Saved. Loved. Becoming.

This past December, a young woman in Kenya broke through a generational barrier—and stepped into a future filled with hope. Cindy, who was once abandoned and vulnerable, graduated from high school and is now pursuing a nursing degree. Her journey is nothing short of a miracle.

Cindy’s life began in tragedy. Her mother died from HIV/AIDS when Cindy was just five years old. Her father, an alcoholic, was rarely home, leaving her to survive on her own. At an age when most children are learning to read and play, Cindy was foraging for food, struggling with malnutrition, and infested with worms. With no one to care for her, her life was on a heartbreaking path of suffering and likely exploitation.

But God intervened.

Because of your generosity, Cindy was rescued and given the care she so desperately needed. For the first time, she had food, shelter, education—and the love of a family. More importantly, she was introduced to the One who would never abandon her: Jesus.

Now, years later, Cindy is thriving. She has completed high school, is studying to become a nurse, and is growing in her faith every day. “God is my Father,” she says with confidence and joy.

Cindy’s story is a powerful reminder that no child is beyond hope—and that with love, care, and the gospel, lives can be transformed.

Thank you for being part of Cindy’s story. Your support is changing lives—restoring dignity, sparking dreams, and raising up the next generation of leaders who know and love Jesus.
